GARTH HECKMAN

Garth is a Pastor, Entrepreneur, Westside Barbell certified trainer, nutritionist, and Stage IV cancer survivor who refused to let the "Chemo War" have the final word. At 60 years old, he combines decades of powerlifting experience with the hard-won wisdom of a man who had to "guinea pig" his own recovery to survive.

As the host of The David Alliance and the Brotherhood Manifesto podcast and a sought-after motivational speaker, Garth empowers men to build a body, mind and Spirit that can withstand the storm. When he’s not coaching or writing, you can find him training his Rottweiler puppy, producing music in his mobile studio, or planning his next trip. He lives in Minnesota with his wife of 41 years, proud father of 2 boys and has 6 grandkids. He remains a living testament that "normal" is something you fight for every single day.
